Julia-She works in the Fiction Department at the Ministry of Truth. She falls in love with Winston and rebells against the party with him. She is very smart about rebelling against the party by being very sneaky and having many hiding places.
O'Brien-He is a very powerful and tricky member of the Inner Party who tricks Winston and Julia. He is a person who brainwashes and tortures anyone who doesn't love Big Brother so that everyone loves Big Brother.
Mr. Charrington-He is an old man who runs a small store with old items in it. He seems to support Winston's and Julia's rebellion against the party by allowing them to use an old room of his without a telescreen. Even though he seems all good, he is a member of the Thought Police.
Syme-A very smart person who works with Winston at the Ministry of Truth. Winston believes that he is too intelligent for the Party and that he will be executed.
Parsons-A fat and dull Party member who lives by Winston and works at the Ministry of Truth with him. He has two children who are members of the Junior Spies and one of them turn him in.
Goldstein-The Party says that he is the legendary leader of the Brotherhood, group who rebells against the Party. They show his face at the Two Minute Hate, and then all of the people yell and scream at his face.
Big Brother-He is said to be the ruler of Oceania and is a very important figure. Winston sees him everywhere looks, on posters, coins, and on the telescreens. Where he sees his face it says, "Big Brother Is Watching You."
